You won’t find any frozen seafood products here.

But we want to hear from other cooks around New England; whether you cook for a living, or just for your family of four. When it comes to seafood, what signifies your best dish? Is it the seasoning? Is it the catch?

Now is your chance to prove it. E-mail your very own recipe to westincopley@westin.com. Even if your recipe is one passed down to you from generations passed, we will post it right here on GatewayToBoston.com. All posts will be placed in the running to participate in a live cook-off event in Turner’s kitchen in front of our esteemed panel of judges for the chance to be crowned winner of the “The Turner Fisheries Seafood Recipe Challenge.”

Grand Prize
Back By Popular Demand

In response to an overwhelming demand from their Back Bay neighbors, Turner Fisheries will open their doors for lunch on April 5th.

“Our Back Bay neighbors have spoken and we’re going to give them what they want,” said Turner Fisheries Chef Armand Toutaint. “You can eat just so many subs, wraps and slices of pizza every day. People want healthy options for lunch and you can’t get healthier than fresh seafood.”

The new lunch menu will feature many of Turner Fisheries favorites, like their award-winning “Hall of Fame” Clam Chowder, Maine Lobster Roll, Baked Long-Line Scrod, and Wild Alaskan Salmon. The new menu will also feature a Design Your Own Panini option, where diners can choose from four different freshly baked breads and fillings like grilled chicken, smoked turkey, black forest ham, smoked salmon, grilled vegetables, and jonah crab meat, along with a variety of cheeses, toppings and condiments.

The highlight of the lunch menu is a pre-fix three-course Express Lunch for just $19. Options include Clam Chowder, Tomato Bisque, Lobster Sliders, Chicken Caesar Salad, Jonah Crab Cakes, Vegetable Panini, Flourless Chocolate Cake, and Crème Brule.

“Our lunch menu features something for everyone,” Toutaint said. “The common denominator is that everything on the menu is fresh, tasty and healthy.”

Like the dinner menu, the Turner Fisheries lunch menu features sustainable seafood. The restaurant is committed to supporting sustainable fisheries and healthy oceans, purchasing over 95 percent of the seafood they prepare from sources, either fished or farmed, that can exist over the long-term without compromising species’ survival or the health of the surrounding ecosystem.

Beginning on Monday, April 5th, Turner Fisheries will be open for lunch Monday – Saturday from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm.
