One of Boston’s most beautiful spaces will be filled with music in a free lunchtime concert series every Friday throughout the summer. The Boston Public Library courtyard, one of the best-kept secrets in town, will host music that ranges from jazz to classical and from a cappella to operetta. The series delivers entertainment to music lovers through August 27 in Copley Square. All concerts are free and begin at 12:30 p.m.
On August 13, Mass Theatrica will be performing. Mass Theatrica is an innovative and multi-genre performing arts company dedicated to bringing a variety of theatre arts genres to the public, including plays, musical theatre, operetta and opera. Angeliki Theoharis and Meredith Lavine founded the company in 2005.
The Boston Public Library’s partners in making these free lunchtime musical interludes available to the public are American Century Music, the Boston Conservatory, the New England Conservatory of Music, and JazzBoston.
