What better way to celebrate the Summer than with a free, outdoor concert by a legendary band? That’s right, ParkARTS will be kicking off their Summer concert series on Thursday, July 15that 7 P.M. in Elliot Norton Park, located at 295 Tremont Street in the heart of Boston. This first concert will start with a bang as the legendary Rhode Island rocker, Neal Vitullo, leads his band, Young Neal and the Vipers, through a musical mix of rockabilly, surf and blues. Vitullo and his band have played with rock legends such as Gregg Allman, Bonnie Raitt and Jimmy Vaughan, have gained followings all over the world, and have caused Bruce Springsteen himself to exclaim, “Where the hell did you come from?” The show is bound to wow, making a perfect end to the workday and early start to the weekend. So, pack up your picnic baskets, put on your dancin’ shoes, and get ready to get down!
