One of Boston’s most beautiful spaces will be filled with music in a free lunchtime concert series every Friday throughout the summer. The Boston Public Library courtyard, one of the best-kept secrets in town, will host music that ranges from jazz to classical and from a cappella to operetta. The series delivers entertainment to music lovers through August 27 in Copley Square. All concerts are free and begin at 12:30 p.m.
On July 2, Jazz vocalist Emily Wolf is joined by guitarist Will Graefe, bassist Oliver Watkinson, and drummer Moses Eder. They have studied with musicians such as Dominique Eade, Ran Blake, Jerry Bergonzi, and George Garzone, and will be performing a variety of jazz standards, ballads, and blues.
The Boston Public Library’s partners in making these free lunchtime musical interludes available to the public are American Century Music, the Boston Conservatory, the New England Conservatory of Music, and JazzBoston.
