Orioles Safe Haven, Bar 10

Calling all Baltimore Orioles fans: Tired of being bombarded by Red Sox fans at Pickles Pub and along the Inner Harbor during the Sox annual visits to Camden Yards? Are you headed to Boston for the big weekend series against the Red Sox on July 24-26 and looking to return the favor? The Westin Copley Place is providing you with that chance, hosting a special event for all members of the O’s brotherhood before each game of the series. Starting next Friday, and throughout the course of the weekend, the hotel will transform it’s acclaimed bar and lounge, Bar 10, into a “safe haven” for all Orioles fans of legal drinking age. To cap it off, O’s fan will be able to enjoy their favorite Maryland brew, the Flying Dog Tiger Bite Golden Ale, for just $2 a bottle!

Located in Boston’s hopping Back Bay area, Bar 10 is an ideal location to take in the sights and sounds of Boston, while simultaneously joining up with your hometown brethren to get fired up for the weekend’s games. Converse about the emergence of Luke Scott and Adam Jones as All-Star caliber players, the potential of Matt Wieters, and the emerging likelihood of a starting rotation featuring young guns Brad Bergesen, Chris Tillman and Jake Arrieta. What better place to start making a statement about your team’s future then in the city of Boston, home to your rival team and their rabid (and well-traveled) fan base?

The Westin Copley Place is also offering an Orioles fan rate of $169, book here.

Come by Bar 10 on the 24th to join in on the fun and the beer. Don’t have a ticket to the game but will be in town or are thinking about it? This will be the place to watch the series (or, maybe even find a ticket to the park from a fellow fan).
